How do I get started creating?

The first question node is already placed on the canvas. From the top of the sidebar, add "Question" and "Result" nodes by drag-and-drop, then draw lines from question nodes to create branches.

How do I represent YES/NO branches or complex flows?

Accepted Answer

Drag from a question node to connect it to another question/result node, then select the line (edge) and enter YES / NO / or another condition as the label. You can freely build flows, such as converging multiple paths into the same result node, or having the NO of Question B proceed to Question C.

Which question is the starting (first displayed) question?

Accepted Answer

The first question node that has no input (connection) from other nodes automatically becomes the starting point. If there are several, the first one detected is used.

You can set a title, description, and an optional external link (such as a detail page). A link button is displayed within the preview.

Click the "Preview" button in the sidebar to open a dialog, where you can answer the questions in order just like an actual user and experience it through to the result display.

Is there a way to add question nodes automatically?

When you drag and drop from a question node's handle (connection point) onto a blank area, a new "Question" node is automatically generated and connected at that spot.

What should I enter for the line (branch) labels?

Accepted Answer

You are not limited to YES / NO; you can enter any text such as "or more," "less than," "if A is chosen," or "meets the condition." The display order depends on the connection order.

What if the result is not displayed or it stops partway?

Accepted Answer

There may be a question node that is not connected to anything, or the path to a result node may be closed. Check the outgoing edges (output lines) of the question where the preview gets stuck.

How do I publish the diagnostic I created to the web?

Accepted Answer

Click the "Save/Publish Chart" button at the bottom of the sidebar and select the "Cloud" tab. Enter a title and description, and check "Publish to the web." Check the confirmation box and save with the "Create new" button to issue a URL for publishing. Share the issued URL and anyone can experience the diagnostic in their browser. An editing password is also issued at the same time, so keep it safe.

How can I save the chart as an image?

Click the "Download Image" button below the preview area to download your chart in PNG/JPEG/SVG format with your chosen quality. If you want to change the aspect ratio, drag the handle at the bottom-right corner of the preview frame to adjust it.

Is there an auto-save feature?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is. Your chart data is saved automatically to your browser's local storage. When you reload the page, or close and reopen your browser, you can restore the saved data. You can also revert to the default data by pressing the reset button at the top-right of the data input area. Local storage data is saved only in your browser and is not shared with other users. If local storage is disabled in your browser settings, the auto-save feature will not work. Clearing your browser cache will also delete the saved data.

How do I save my data temporarily?

Click the "Save & Publish Chart" button below the preview area to temporarily save your chart. You can re-edit it later using the URL and password issued when you saved it. You can also publish the chart publicly via URL.

You can load a chart using the "Resume from Saved Data" button. When loading, enter the URL and password issued when you saved it.
